Blah we should have scored there. I know Theriot was held, but he's screwed up so many times on the bases the last few games, I'm going to blame it on him.

A poor throw to second and Theriot still almost gets thrown out.

 

It was a great throw when you consider how quickly he got rid of the ball from when he caught it. Besides, a one bounce throw as long as you bounce it in the right spot is a good way to make sure the ball is down for the tag.

 

Yeah, I guess it was more that it really shouldn't have been as close as it was rather than a poor throw.

 

Bad choice of words, I guess.
