OK Demp, you just have to keep telling yourself you're not Jason Marquis.

And Neal Cotts! ... and Bob Howry ....... and Dan Gaudin.

Dan Gaudin is my favorite Cub.

Odalis' WHIP is about 4 right now.

When I said it he had given up 4 BBs and 9 hits in 3 1/3. 3.90 WHIP :P

He's Chad Gaudin's good twin.

I don't look at Wood as unexpected production. He's been healthy and I always felt he could be a great closer once he got comfortable in the role. Now, Edmonds, Johnson, Theriot, Soto and Demp? That another story. I thought Soto would be good, not this good. I am more impressed with how he has handled our staff.

As I type this, Aramis with another gem at 3rd base. He needs to get gold glove consideration this year.

Off-topic: Hey rawaction, did you hear the actor who played Shonuf died? I'm not sure if that's why you made him your avatar.

Yeah, him too.

Dan Go-Dan just fits together better than Chad Go-Dan.

If he pitched yesterday, wouldn't he be Chad's evil twin? :-"

I agree, we all know what type of production Wood give with health but you have to admit his health would be considered a bonus thus far.

If that Baseball America tools thing is an indication, the managers consider him the second best glove in the NL at third behind only Wright.
