Ugh. Not what I was hoping for when I saw "In play, run(s)".

Ugh...

 

I've said it before but I effing HATE how Hughes voice gets excited when bad things happen... Just now I thought it was a ground ball was gonna get through by the way he was calling it but instead it was a freaking DP.

 

He's been getting worse lately.

Well, that should the poster who didn't want the Cubs to rely only on big innings happy.

I'm hoping this has nothing to do with his wrist. If you watch him through the hitting zone he is trying to lift the ball and keeps rolling over on it. How in the blue hell do you not make an adjustment after 24 double plays??

Then it's just totally unacceptable that he can't make an adjustment. I just don't understand how you don't try something different. The only thing he looks like he's trying is to be less open in his stance.....surely that was what gave him the biggest success in the first place? i cringe even watching his cuts in the on deck circle something isn't right.......

the one thing i have noticed with lee is that he stopped doing the head check ala coco that he was doing when he was raking earlier this season

 

i don't know why he stopped doing it because it was working
