I really wish Soriano would have played that triple better. Things might have turned out differently.

Agreed.

Of course there are a lot of things that you wonder about in a 1-run game.

Ryan Theriot actually hits into double plays at a higher rate than Lee. Theriot just hasn't had as many opportunities.

Ryan Theriot isnt hitting 3rd.

Well, that's kind of what is inferred by cheapseats.

I just don't see a batting order shakeup doing much good. The Cubs are leading the NL in runs scored by a pretty wide margin. Lee has hit into a lot of double plays, but he's not even in the top 30 in MLB in double play rate.

I have never seen a Cubs team have so many hard-hit outs as this year.

Houston? Arizona?

Ball 1 on Kosuke looks like the exact same pitch that rung up Fontenot in the 9th last night.

And? The umpires are different.

Exactly.

This series is frustrating, but the Cubs have been hitting the ball hard and have taken their share of walks.

2 more series that add to my point. This team scalds the ball for outs insanely often.

I guess it's a good sign but it drives me nuts.

Wow, I'm incredibly sick of watching this Cub team not score runs against Florida. So, I'm on to other things.

I definitely don't want to see the Marlins, or the DBacks, in the playoffs this year. Anything that keeps them out will be just peachy with me.

It's very good sign when you're struggling to score and you're not getting fooled badly.

Argh!
