If UCLA and Kevin freaking Craft can do this to us, what in the world is Florida going to do?

What is the highest point total in NCAA history? The Crocs will probably surpass that in the first quarter.

better watch out for UK!

Mike Hartline will throw for 10,000 yards against us. In the first series of the game.

We suck.

As for the SEC vs Pac 10 football, all-time, head-to-head record – here it is:

The SEC leads the Pac-10 59-37-5 (.609).

However, over the past 10 years (1998 - 2007), the Pac-10 atually leads the SEC 9-6 (.600).

The above calculation is based on "historical conference affiliation." If you run the same SEC vs Pac-10 numbers based on "current conference affiliation" you find out that the SEC leads 62-39-6 (.607).

If you'd like to see how the SEC and Pac-10 compare in bowl wins, go to Top College Football Bowl Conference

For details of how we arrived at the above numbers, go to Big Ten vs SEC.

This is before you Pac 10 fans get all chest-puffing excited about beating an SEC team.

Simply put, the SEC still historically has owned the Pac 10.

I don't think anyone is out there disrespecting the SEC. It's the chest-puffing the SEC fans do as if any other team that makes noise in the title picture isn't worthy because they don't "play an SEC schedule." Trust me, I've heard it a lot over the years because I'm a USC fan (not that I'm complaining about the success Pete has had!).

In fact I've never said that the SEC WASN'T the best conference, but it shouldn't undermine other teams accomplishments when you factor in OOC schedules.

I LOVE YOU COLLEGE FOOTBALL!!!!!!

We are the mighty Bruins

YESSSSSSSSSSSSS!

Congrats Raisin. You're boys earned it.

Now excuse me while I shoot myself.

don't be selfish. do it outside so the cleanup isn't as bad for those you leave behind

Then he'd have to see naked Raisin.

hopefully the paint will cover enough of the little Raisins

Ain't nothin' little 'bout me.

NO THERE ISN'T!

I don't know whether to laugh or cry right now. I am pissed off, though.

Rough game, sorry. I've been on this end way more times than you have. Just hope that Crompton can make the adjustments a talented kid like him should make to get the team back to par.

Bowls all(with a few exceptions) take place in SEC territory. There's certainly no advantage for the SEC there.

That's not the SEC's fault. Put that on NCAA, and don't blame the SEC for owning the Pac 10.

Yeah, that's the only hope I can take out of this. Crompton looked awful but showed good composure. He easily could have fallen apart, but didn't - and actually looked good in the final couple of drives.

The secondary will be fine, but John Chavis really, really, really needs to stop running the prevent defense when we're up in the fourth quarter. He loves that defense for some reason and I'm really getting sick of it.

6-9 over the last 10 years is "owning" ?

Edit: And what does the NCAA have to do with where bowl games take place? It has 100% to do with the bowls taking place in January and wanting fans to travel to good climates.

Did I blame the SEC? I do think it's kinda foolish for SEC fans to be thumping their chests about their conference based on bowl records when they're just home games.

Wow, UCLA. If 1st half Kevin Craft doesn't show up again they might actually be pretty good. The defense alone should win them some more games.

There is really no point debating this.

I'm so happy that the pissing match is between the SEC and Pac-10 this year.

NOT IF I CAN HELP IT!

SEC teams also play the Big Ten and Big East this year, so I'm sure there will be enough vitriol for all to share.

A lot of good teams are playing each other out of conference so that should help give us a nice base to swing away!

There is no pissing match. Historically the SEC has handled their business against all comers in football. Pac 10 didn't become relevent again, until USC started to win.

Legit question, not trying to sound obxious but......if UCLA had to play either Florida, GA, or perhaps even LSU (and to a lesser degree either Alabama (and not a Alabama probation team they did a few yrs ago, but THIS YEARS Bama), and Auburn you think UCLA would have won? Prolly not. I know for a fact LSU/GA/Florida would have stomped UCLA (and chances are one of those three could and should beat USC---on the flip USC could and should beat any SEC team) into the ground. Sorry dew, but Tennessee was one SEC team I thought was severely overrated. And I don't know if people in non-SEC schools know this, but Vols fans are more the ready to send that rat fink on a bus ticket out Tennessee any day now. I'm not going to diminish UCLA's victory, and it was a great win for the Bruins, but on the flip side they did survive the game at home. So, it came to no surprise they beat Tennessee in UCLA, as they should.

As for any "pissing match", there isn't one. Until the Pac 10 has more then one legit NT contender, they are just another wannabe contender to the best conference in football. With that said, event ho they are not in SEC class, I still ranked the Big 10, heck even the Big 12 ahead the Pac 10 in overall conference strentgh.

Yeah UCLA, even though you aren't very good, imagine if you were playing one of the top 10 teams in the country!!! Then you might not have won, actin all high and mighty now that you're one of the 50 best teams in the country.
