Tyler Colvin o'meter OPS= .727.

He is really starting to tear the cover off of the ball. 18 for 43 in his last 10 games. For a line of .419/.457/.674/1.131 OPS.

Since the AS break, he is hitting awfully close to his numbers from his 2007 numbers. .297/.323/.525. That ISOP of .228 is very encouraging. He hasn't walked a lot lately, with 2 of his 5 post All Star walks coming 3 games ago. But still, Colvin has walked 41 times in 520 plate appearances this year, which is not a bad rate (near .08 per PA). He had just 15 in 507 PAs last year.

Angel has been moved to Iowa and will start for the I-Cubs tomorrow. After that start, he'll head to Iowa's pen to get used to relieving.

He was supposed to make two starts for Tennessee but I guess one was all he needed.

Brandon Guyer homered for Peoria, keeping his strong season going. I wouldn't be surprised if he's a top 10 prospect for us going into next season.

BA will have him higher than any other ranking, don't know if he can sneak into the top 10 though. He's put together a fantastic second half.

Colvin is 2 for 3 with a double and a triple.

he's trying to get that ops up to .800 by the end of the year.

Samardzija will be top 10 if he doesn't exhaust his eligibility.

Vitters

Cashner

Ceda

those guys are top definitely in the top 10... then we're left with some questionable guys (in no particular order)

Jackson

Castillo

Colvin

Rundle

Veal

Thomas

Flaherty

Carpenter

Schafer

Maestri

Rhee

Suarez

Huseby

Most of those guys have spent a good deal of this season either ineffective or injured... or simply don't have the track record to support what they've done to this point (Jackson). I could see Guyer slipping into the upper half of that group.

I don't see Samardzija exhausting his eligibility.

In terms of BA, I think Castillo, Flaherty, Colvin and Veal are locks. Also don't think Huseby sniffs the top 20.

Just guessing:

1. Samardzija

2. Vitters

3. Ceda

4. Cashner

5. Castillo

6. Colvin

7. Flaherty

8. Veal

9. Rhee?

10. Jackson or Shafer?

ETA: They'd put Rundle in there, forgot about him.

Drew Rundle was pulled from the Boise lineup for not running out a groundout.
