It would be wonderful if the Cubs could keep that whole undefeated in 2008 against Atlanta thing going.

Cubs have never faced Morton which means we're going to get brutalized today.

The Braves are dead in the water. The Cubs should absolutely sweep the Braves with no close games.

I really wish a lot of fans would stop acting like great team vs. terrible team = absolute overwhelming odds of victory.

It doesn't.

It's baseball.

You could have the 98 Yankees face the 03 Tigers and the Tigers would have a decent chance of winning.

If you are referring to my post, I didn't say they would sweep I said they "should absolutely sweep".

This is true

especially against, and I must stress this again because this is important, a pitcher we haven't seen

Don't get excited Cubbie fans, we aren't scoring many runs

I'll be happy with a series win. Sweeps are tough to do especially on the road.

This is the kind of pitcher that usually throws 7 or 8 innings of shuttout baseball against us. We'll see, but Im not getting my hopes up. Probably Harden goes 6 strong and strikes out 10 then Bob Howry gives up a 3 run homerun for the 3-0 loss lol.

woo Rich Harden on tv, I have only got to see one of his starts before this.

I'll say 2-0, Edmonds hits a two run bomb and Harden pitches 7 striking out 11.

They shouldn't. It doesn't work that way.

That's like saying the worst team in baseball should lose every game. Or that the best team should win every game.

Meh, enough of all this negativity, this Morton clown belongs in AAA.

Soriano hits a bomb, Edmonds continues to be a freak, and DLee hits into 4 double plays.

Cubs win 5-2

the problem with the sweep is, while I dont know the exact stats, Jason Marquis pitches tommorow, and the Braves have pretty much owned him throughout his career.

Cubs should cruise tonight. Harden will bounce back with the extra days of rest and get back to striking out 10 every game.

Thank you for a good morning laugh to take my mind off how rapidly approaching school is.
