Usually the refs realize at some point that they are jobbing one side or the other and fix it. These guys are apparently too stupid to do so.

refs have been awful, defense has been awful, huet has been awful. even though they may have won without the bogus officiating, they probably wouldn't have deserved it. they have been complete garbage in the second half of this game. campbell and huet have been the worst.

But DM is right. This was a team loss. Where were Kane and Toews all night? Havlat looked good, and Ladd and Bolland did too. But few other guys had much of jump out there at all.

As a mostly impartial observer of the game, I dont think the refs had much to do with the Hawks losing. I agree that NHL refereeing is bad, but it is not impartial. Its bad for everyone.
