Jeff Samardzija needs a new nickname...

After graduating from the minor leagues and going: 1.59 ERA 11 1/3 IP 2 ER at the major league level, it is now time to give this man a well deserved awesome nickname.

 

Shark just doesn't cut it anymore...

 

"Jefe" Samardzija is what I am calling him from now on because yesterday when he faced the top of the Cardinals order he proved once again to be the boss. In fact he could also be the final boss of baseball, but this time... no game over.
