Joe Torre batting the pitcher. Great.

Don't question Torre's logic.

Glaus shoulda picked up the foul ball.

But where's that logic when he pulls the pitcher in the next inning?

It's Manny homer or the Dodgers lose.

At this point I think La Russa IBB's Manny for everything except bases loaded.

I'd do that all through every game. The rest of this lineup is like a neutered dog.

Kemp, Loney, Ethier, Blake, Martin ... not too shabby.

I don't even get mad when things like this happen. I saw that Ludwick homered and just chuckled. It's funny at this point.

I giggled like a schoolgirl.

Holy hell the White Sox are the Tigers' daddies. I've never seen such a nightmarish season for a .500 team.

See Cubs, 2005.

The 2005 Cubs didn't have nearly this many brutal losses late in games.

$20 to whoever goes to ryan ludwick's house every day and monitors for suspicious packages from a pharmacy in florida.

I look at Ryan Ludwick and I see Mark Bellhorn. One great season, then he fades into oblivion.

Hopefully, he fades into Bolivian.

Ludwick already has as many home runs as Bellhorn had in 2002.

So long as the Cubs keep winning, STL can have as many Ludwick/Schumaker/Miles/Ankiel/etc success stories as they want, they're still probably not making the playoffs.

When I went to sleep last night, the Cards game was tied. I woke up this morning and had a hunch that Lundwick hit a walkoff home run. Not surprised that I was right.
