EDIT - I don't even think UMFan meant that, either. Just that it's dumb to set unrealistic expectations. They're not going to win every game against teams worse than them. If they did, they'd win every single game.

I guess, but I can see why some people would expect to sweep the Pirates. As it is I think we will be lucky to win the series now. Maholm is a decent pitcher.

Following Milwaukee's ego-boosting 4 game sweep at St. Louis, they have now lost 6 of 7.

It is only August 1 - nothing is won yet.

my last comment didnt even have anything to do with anyone on the board. Just a general statement. The loss isnt the let down. We'll, its A let down, but the fact that the offense didnt bother to show up vs. a no name pitching staff is kind of sucky, especially following the offensive meltdown of last week. Definitely nothing to panic about, and really more of an annoyance than anything.
