I cannot believe they are getting rid of this park. Idiots.

Have you been there before?

Personally I thought the same way as you until I went there. What a dump. Cramped dark narrow concourses, extremely steep upper deck, cramped seats.

So not all that different from Wrigley?

Eye of the beholder.

The concourses aren't very dark or narrow at all (ok in the UD they are)....the UD isn't very steep relatively speaking either.

We don't even have an UD concourse.

Yessss the Bleacher Bums are doing their chants

Those chants are one of the coolest things in sports.

Is that the thing where they chant an OFer's name until he acknowledges them or something?

Yeah...its pretty cool actually

Anyone who has never seen it before check it out

Don Kessinger lives in Oxford, and I was talking to him a few years ago at a baseball game he was at (annoying him about Cubs questions, but he was gracious), and he told me a cool story about his first all-star appearance.

He said his one big memory of his first appearance was sitting in the dugout after an inning was over and having Willie Mays and Hank Aaron come sit on either side of him. He was like "whoa....how in the hell did I get my ass here??"

It's so cool that Pat Hughes mas a national commercial

And that they use the Aramis HR call from last June. I hope Cordero is still choking on that.

Is that what it's from? That makes it even better. Thought it was something made specifically for the commercial.

Pretty sure the one with Lou is. Not sure about the other.

I got the Lou one. Not the Pat Hughes one.

The second part of the audio' date=' starting from "DRIVING ONE IN THE AIR!" is from the Aramis home run. I'd know it anywhere. I dunno what the first part of the call is from, but it sounds more like Pat calling the Cubs giving up a lead, judging by his tone with "the tying run is in..."

The Aquafina commercial with Lou is national too.
