6 runs is the new backup save for Lou. He won't use Wood in these situations, but if we're only up by a mere 6 runs, he only feels comfortable with Howry or Marmol finishing it out. It's maddening.

I'm not sure how much I think of Gaudin. He has a career ERA of 4.90 away from Oakland.

 

Edit: whoops, he hasn't played for Oakland his whole career, but his career away ERA is 4.90.

How unjust would it be to be Lieber, pretty much do everything the team has asked of you (other than one DISASTROUS start against Cincy) and get DFA'd before Marquis?
