I wouldn't mind having him as the counterpart to Daryle Ward off the bench right now.

That's not a bad idea at all. He and ward are basically the same player; can't really play defense a lick but can mash a ball every now and then. I doubt it will happen though, Lou loves him some versatility and 13 pitchers (to only use 9).

Its going to be hard to keep him off the team after last night, unless Lou choses to go with an extra pitcher until then, which I doubt. Im not saying he has any more of a future with this team than Murton did or Hoffpauir(although Hoff may very well take Wards place next year) does, Im just saying that until Soriano returns, hes just a perfect replacement for Murton, if thats humanly possible.

He's not really a counterpart to Ward though. Although Ward is a lefty and Dubois a righty, both are absolutely horrible against lefties and mash righties.

The 3 HR night is just a culmination to his being a AAA monster since his return to Iowa.

For the love of God, The Creatures SLUGGING .818. I know hes only been there half the season, but why could he not do this when there was a chance of him having a major league career? if he was 5 years younger, hed be one hell of a trading chip.

He still has 6 HRs and an .836 OPS vs. Lefties. Thats not horrible.

I doubt it, Especially with Soriano about to come back. That said, I still wouldn't mind his bat on the bench or even starting once in a while. I hope someone from this team notices him before he's picked up by someone like the Cardinals and starts putting up the numbers we think he's capable of putting up.
