I don't know if this has been talked about, but do you think that Edmonds should have bowled over Molina to try to score in the 8th? Later he called Molina "the best catcher in baseball" which shows Edmonds' fondness of him. Friends don't knock over other friends?

Edmonds would have shattered into a million pieces. He's in no shape to bowl people over.

Oh please. The catcher bears the brunt of the hit usually.

Put this loss in the: "crushing, no way the Cubs are going to lose this game internal file". Seriously, I'm so used to to these type of losses that you almost become immune to them. I have felt this feeling so many times that you just walk away from the TV and say: "They managed to lose another game they had won".

If it's not blowing the NLCS in 1984 and 2003, it's losses like these that remind you how hard it is to be a fan of this team.

Every franchise that has ever existed in the Majors has had this exact loss, usually multiple times throughout a season. When you play 162 games you will blow some leads in the 9th. It just has to happen.

It was devastating, and its a shame it went from such a great feeling with Aramis' homer to this, but thats the way things went.

It really really really sucked. Lets get em tomorrow and win the series. :P
