Yesss....I just won an eBay auction for Red Sox/Yankees tickets for Thursday nights game at Yankee Stadium. This will be my first and only trip to the House That Ruth Built. Anyone have any suggestions?

Just out of curiosity, how much over face did you wind up paying for those?

 

I have no idea how much face is. I paid $50 a ticket for Tier 23 Row T. Probably crappy seats, and I probably could have scalped for a better price (I'm a pro from being a Cubs fan in Wrigleyville), but I have friends (red sox fans) coming down from NH who are giving me a ride back after the game so I wanted to make certain we had tickets before they made the 5 hour drive.

 

Most auctions I saw were going for $75 a ticket for the much less desirable Bleacher seats, so I feel like I did well.

Don't get bleachers tickets. I did that last year, although the view was good, I couldn't go to monument park. ](*,)

Wow, 50 a ticket for anywhere in the stadium sounds like a good deal to me.
