I'd be in favor of trading for a good SS at the deadline.

yeah, his OBP isn't near .400 or anything.

His OBP is reasonable, but his baserunning mistakes and his defense really hurt him. The Cubs could upgrade, imo.

Nice curve!

So will they interview Trammell from the dugout? Or get Lou down in the showers? That would be good television.

Did Lou get ejected? I just got home.

Yeah, apparently "swinging" is no longer a strike for the white sox, so lou killed, fried, and ate the umpire.

You can put it on the board!

...I was just repeating what I heard from the background of Gammons report.

Usually I agree with you and you keep everyone in line, but whats wrong with Theriot's .380+ OBP?

He's awful at everything else. Including shaving.

Reasonable? It's the best in baseball among SS.

Reasonable? LOL.

If by reasonable, you mean better than every other SS in baseball, then I agree.

Theriot just drives me nuts. I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop with him.

If a good SS is available at the deadline, the Cubs would benefit if they pull the trigger.

Did he start throwing bases or something? Anybody have a video?

Not if it hinders our chances to land a top starter.
