I was born and raised a Cubs fan. I will die a Cubs fan. Sometime before then, I'd like to witness this team win a World Series. If bringing on Bonds helps them do that, so be it. If Cub fans can accept Jim Edmonds, they can accept Bonds. If they can run the statuesque Cliff Floyd out there defensively, they would accept whatever Bonds can do.

 

Not that it matters, because Hendry would never sign him.
