Just curious after experiencing Cub Nation for the first time and all the excitement that goes with it, as to whether or not Brian Roberts is wishing the "the deal" had gone through. I also wonder what Andy MacPhail might have thought with Marshall's performance.

I bet he was thinking, "Hey, Lou! Stop smacking your lips so much!"

A. Its not like Roberts was opposed to the deal. I dont see where your going here.

Exactly Roberts always had nice things to say, and seemed excited about the whole deal.

From these comments (according to a poster on OH), I'd say he liked it quite a bit...

Roberts was asked "What is it like playing here?" He says this place is great...really loud.....I thought Fenway was loud but this place is louder. Nobody left when they got down 7-1. Everyone stayed he said with a big smile on his face. It almost looked like he had scored the winning run for the Cubs and they won the game.

I'm pretty sure Roberts was extremely excited to play for the Cubs.

Yep, remember the whole thing with Millar kidding him during the workouts about the Cubs watching...

Hey Tyrant! For heaven sakes, stop smacking your lips! In answer to LLF post... I know Roberts wasn't opposed to being traded to the Cubs --in fact, he welcomed it. I'm just hoping that now he's experienced a true baseball atmosphere with the greatest fans in the world, that he'll go to Peter Angelos's house and ask that the O's trade him to the North Siders immediately.

So the Orioles can say no?
