    good i got most of you going. all i'm saying is that i think lou getting tossed really fires up the team. maybe it will help them refocus. with regards to sori, yeah benched to to strong of a word. i would agree that he was just being given the night off BUT with the way soriano has been playing, he needs to be taken out of the lineup. let him clear his head and refocus.

    Sorry guys if this is posted elsewhere but two things happened tonight that were LONG overdue. First of all, Piniella finally getting ejected from a game. I firmly believe that if he had exploded months ago, the Cubs would be playing better baseball. And Soriano? What the heck took so long?

    Man, I am so ticked off. There is no way I am going to get any sleep tonight. Can I talk any of you into reading me a bed time story? Somebody please reassure me that the Cubs will survive this latest blunder by Hendry. I wonder how the Cub players are feeling right now, knowing that DeRo is now a Cardinal?     Did I see that the Angels recently sent down second baseman Howard Kendrick to Triple A? Didn't he have a pretty good season for them last year? I doubt that the Halos are about to give up on him...but if he were available. What do you think it would cost the Cubs to get him?

    I'm sure if you have heard or read about what's going on with some of the friction that has occurred between Fields and Ozzie. Now, I know the White Sox haven't made him available yet but if they did, do you think he'd be worth inquiring about?

    yeah definitely Koske and Theriot but we really need to select the best players from the National League, I really getting tired of the A.L. winning all the time. I'm also hoping that Bradley, Geo, and DLee will start tearing the cover off the baseball before the break. And of course it would be great if Aram can make it back before the All-Star break as well.

    Don't know if this was reported in Game Threads but I thought that was great when in (maybe) the 7th innning, you could hear Cub fans chanting "WE WANT PE-AVY!" "WE WANT PE-AVY!" That really was funny. I hope that Hendry can pull the trigger on a deal for Peavy this Summer.

    Watching the Cubs get beat by the Halos on the MLB Network and noticing Mike Scosia's (spelling?) agressive style of managing, I can't help but wonder what might have been if Dusty would have signed with the Angels as their manager, instead of the Cubs. I'm quite sure if Baker had gone to Anaheim, Hendry would have signed Scosia. Just think, we probably would have won the pennant in 2003, and maybe in 2007 and 2008 as well. Who knows? Your input please.
