    Wait, what? You realize those numbers aren't even close to each other, right? Yes, but that doesn't mean Hill is "better" per se, his ERA may be a hell of a lot "lower", and the WHIP are completely "different", but all things being "equal" they are the "same" and none is "better" than the "other". whoa...i am not one of the "Hill can do no wrong" folks on here, but holy crap man...i have seen hill on his game and it is nasty, marshall is good, but hill can and has been dominant... That's a very large sarchasm right there. sarchasm? whatever...i guess we are both still sleepy there's no "h" in sarcasm guys. nor is there a "e" in Lilly.

    Hey man, I know y'all enjoyed grillin Billy but hey maybe he was onto something. I heard on Baseball Tonight, that Hendry has been aggressively pursuing Harden.

    the cubs will end up signing with milwaukee? that'd be crazy. Combining the two teams into one uber-team would be freaking awesome. "Truffle Shuffle" and "Outshined" y'all are crazy. I thought y'all understood english but I guess I was wrong. Hmm, maybe I should have said what I said in spanish. Again, I think the Cubs have a better chance at signing Sabathia than the Brewers do. Comprende?

    LOL, you sound jealous. :) Seriously, it's a great move for them but I agree with the gist of your message; it might not directly impact the overall outcome of the Cubs' season. Yeah Navigator, it's a great move for the Brew Crew and I'm happy for them but there's no way they overtake the Cubs. Milwaukee might win the WC but they wont defeat the Cubs in the playoffs. In the 2nd Half, the Cubs will continue to compete with the Rays, for being the best team in baseball. In the past this would have freaked me out but I'm not concerned, I know the Cubs will prevail in the end. I'll sleep well tonight.

    So the Brewers landed C.C. Sabathia...big deal? The Cubs will still win the division. Mark it down! It will happen and I honestly believe we might even win it all in 2008. And I don't think C.C. will end up signing with Milwaukee after the season --the Cubs will.

    A. Its not like Roberts was opposed to the deal. I dont see where your going here. B. Mediocre at best Hey Tyrant! For heaven sakes, stop smacking your lips! In answer to LLF post... I know Roberts wasn't opposed to being traded to the Cubs --in fact, he welcomed it. I'm just hoping that now he's experienced a true baseball atmosphere with the greatest fans in the world, that he'll go to Peter Angelos's house and ask that the O's trade him to the North Siders immediately.

    I've really been impressed with Edmonds. I'm going to predict that he sticks with the team the rest of the year (including the post season).

    Just curious after experiencing Cub Nation for the first time and all the excitement that goes with it, as to whether or not Brian Roberts is wishing the "the deal" had gone through. I also wonder what Andy MacPhail might have thought with Marshall's performance.

    Just curious...the Cubs certainly passed on Posednick (which I'm glad they did, and I was against the Edmonds signing) but ended up signing "Jimmy E." If you had to choose, do you prefer Edmonds over Posednick, or vice versa? Oh BTW, just saw a feature and interview on Edmonds. Zambrano and "Jimmy E." already have made amends and in general, received a warm reception from the players. Now, if only the fans will give Jim Edmonds a chance. I better not hear any boos today!

    Marquis says he's a great teammate and that he'll be good in the clubhouse. I was against thing just like evrybody else but now it's time to give this dude a chance. And then somebody earlier is talking about travelling all the way from Florida to attend a Cub game, just so he can boo Edmonds when he comes up to bat. That is so stupid! I hope our fans don't embarass themselves with such idiotic behavior.

    I love mi hermano but Zambrano gotta chill out. Get over it--that's the past. marquis knows him very well and says that Edmonds is a great teammate. I think the two of them will be just fine. Look I too was against this signing but now it's time to give this dude a chance.

    Okay maybe I missed somethin but when you said "Mr. Gallagher, please pass on to Sean my congrats for the outstanding work today." What was that all about? Was it a typo or was that directed towards Sean Gallagher's father? Or maybe Sean G. has a split personality that we're just finding out about. Anyway, that part of your post didn't make any sense.
