Did he come really close to tying it? ESPN.com is making it look so.

 

The ball was caught on the front part of the warning track. It was a deep fly, but Brandon Jones was camped under it the whole time.

Can't see the game right now, but gameday showed that final strike pitch to Chipper was well outside. Anyone see it?

My goodness, the Braves are held together with spit and glue! Who is this bust-out attempting to close the game?

 

The guy who is 32 for his last 32 in save opportunities dating back to 2004, including 24 for 24 in 2006?

 

He has missed a year after surgery, but he does have quite a streak going, and isn't a bad option for the Braves at the closer spot.
