The Reds have enough pieces in place to be scary in another year or two, so I'd like to see Dusty keep hanging around there in the mean time.

Yeah but that's what happened here. Next thing you know by the end of the contract Dustbag had wrecked Prior, wrecked Wood, wrecked Patterson, killed the morale of Ramirez, had Theriot swinging at everything (in the few atbats he was given), and would be sitting Soto and Fontenot right now while burning out Marmol's arm as well. For the sake of Cueto, Votto and the rest of the Reds prospects Gillick should get rid of Dusty sooner than later.
