I wonder how much the running off at the mouth by the Sox has affect the Cubs. They sure do seem intent on making a statement

CUBS are 30-9 when they score first in the game.... 17-19 when they don't

CUBS are 18-3 when they score in the first inning.... 29-25 when they don't

That's what makes this all the more sweet...the Sox keep mouthing off in the press about Wrigley, our fans, our winning ways and even our players (Edmonds)...The Cubs keep their focus on the game on the field.
