Not sure I want to see Marmol (don't know if he's back, or close, to where he was), even with a nice lead to work around, so who do "you" get up to work the 9th? Or do you roll the dice and let Demps at least come back out and start the inning??

Oh, and great work getting around the leadoff 2B, Demps!!!

Nah, put someone else in for the 9th.

I just noticed the Cub batters have more walks than hits today.

Imagine that happeneing in the Baker regime.

.......................I have a terrific imagination, but that one just can't be imagined

Pat and Ron discussed earlier how the coaching staff found a flaw in Marmol's delivery. They said he was crouched over too much and that they could fix the mechanics. Let's hope that's true.

Since the Cubs have the off day on Monday, Dempster's next start will come with an extra day's rest so I'd let him start the ninth and if he gets into any trouble, take him out. Have Cotts or Lieber ready to go but let Dempster go for it.

I like the idea of sending him back out. Lou looked pumped when he told him to grab a bat.
