Oh well, you never know. I would be surprised if the Sox don't touch this scrub Boggs (anybody else picture that guy from Shawshank Redemption) for at the very least 5 or so. There's still a long way to go.

Am I the only one who thinks Dice K, might have been a tad overrated, when he came over to the states? He hasn't been nearly as bad as Irabu, but he hasn't exactly lit up the AL either, like somebody who cost his team $100 mill to win the bid and then sign him.

 

I mean, my god, if the Cardinals can light him up, then maybe he is not as good as ESPN trying to make him out to be. And I, for one, amglad the Cubs did not win that bid.

McCarver's new bit of wisdom is that the Cardinals are playing so well because these guys were fighting for playing time. They are hungry, hence they play well.
