Wow the Sooners aren't very good without Blake Griffin. If it weren't for that kid with the douche bag haircut this would be a 13 point game.

 

Very exciting finish nonetheless.

kansas played a nice game, but they played it against an oklahoma team without blake griffin. my point? this win is sorta meaningless. they're in a nice position though, with missouri and oklahoma going to lawrence.

For a young team, even beating a Griffin-less OU on the road is worth something, but you're right in that it doesn't tell us a whole lot about how good KU is.

 

OU won't come to Lawrence. They only play the south teams once.

youre right, i read espn's graphic wrong. oklahoma is going to missouri, not kansas.

I don't think Aldrich would have guarded him much. There's no way he could have kept up, and Self would have wanted to keep CA out of foul trouble.

Sherron Collins is gonna step on a landmine and Blake Griffin will get kicked in the head and Missouri will wind up as the first 1 to lose to a 16.

can't help but notice that you've got a lot of missouri hate in you. they're a pretty good team. there ranking might be a bit higher than how good they really are, but they've been winning a lot lately so i have no issue with them currently being in the top 10.

In one of OU's best years ever and a transitional year for UI. I'll take it, especially based on expectations at the beginning of the year.

 

On the other hand, Capel seems to have his crap together and may be able to maintain a solid program at OU, so who knows.
