Does anyone know where I can find some hi-res images from the throwback game against the Braves....I'd love to have one as a desktop and a few more saved.

It's what the Cub hats of the era looked like, but these were the wrong shade of blue and had a white outline. Here is something closer to the genuine article.

I dunno. I'm assuming it was a choice as well; if I, an better-informed-than-average fan with Internet access can take 2 minutes and check the HoF's website or the Cubs.com shop and find the correct hat, I would have a difficult time believing that the Cubs themselves or Majestic Athletic or Mitchell and Ness or New Era or whomever was involved with making the throwbacks couldn't do the same without blinking.

I was gonna bring this up as well. I think she does promotions for the Cubs. Last year when I sat behind home plate and they were letting kids onto the field before the game to take pictures, she was there. I couldn't take my eyes off of her, she was gorgeous. Only saw her once and never forgot.

 

Creepy? Maybe. But I'm a man, and I know hotness when I see it

I'm pretty sure that's the girl who got me & my buddies on the field last year. I'm pretty sure her name is Andrea Burke, the Senior Account Executive for the Marketing Department of the Cubs. Very nice and a hot.
