I was at the Rogers Centre this year to see the Blue Jays vs. the Royals and I had no idea the roof was retractable.

 

Watching the Stanley Cup this year, one of the announcers mentioned that "The Igloo" in Pittsburgh is retractable. I guess it was rarely used as an open air stadium (for concerts & such).

 

That is one I had no idea was retractable.

nice to see that a curveball right over the middle of the plate is a ball

Don't you understand? The curveball is never a strike, its too confusing for umps so they always call it a ball. Either it crossed through to zone too high, or it finished too high or something, they'll make anything up

The only way this Jays team is going to do any damage is if Lilly gives them the chance to do so by issuing BB's. If he throws strikes, they're not going to do much.
