Is it just me, or is every pitch from Litsch basically the same? Every pitch so far is 83-85 with the same down and away from righthanders movement.

yes, all of his pitches so far have been sliders

See the previous post where it was noted he threw 19 sliders in the 1st inning. That is just ridiculous.

Okay Lilly, let's have a nice, easy 1st inning.

 

I want to see this happen as well. I remember a couple starts ago they were saying Larry has been working with him because its been taking him 2-3 innings to ramp up and start throwing in the low 90s. In the first few innings, his velocity is way down and his pitches aren't as sharp.

 

His last couple of starts have reflected that as well.
