If Lilly could work on his HR problems he'd be a great pitcher.

 

he's a fly ball pitcher, home runs are going to happen... curt schilling is another example of a guy who always gave up a lot of home runs, but he did a good job of preventing baserunners by keeping his walk rate low. that's the key for lilly, IMO.

Ah. That makes sense then.

Sounds like he had a couple of hard hit shots that were unfortunately caught besides the homer. Is this the case?

Ick. This two run lead seems much bigger than it really is when no one is on base. Now that someone is, it's fairly nerveracking.

 

Chipper's playing? Seriously? I thought he was hurt?
