Edit: I guess Johnson is good against Lowe and Edmonds isnt, but whatever.

Lichtman, Tango, and Dolphin have shown that batter vs pitcher performance is NOT predictive, no matter how lopsided, but platoon splits ARE predictive.

Starting Johnson in this game is a terrible decision, especially since Lowe struggles against lefties. Lowe's splits are among the most dramatic you'll ever see.
