As well as the Cubs are playing, I can't help but still be nervous about the Brewers and Reds. They may be far back right now, but those are the only 2 legitimate teams in the division (no offense St. Louis) and they are both starting to play real well.

Jay Bruce scares the holy hell out of me.

Nice K!

Every team in our division (except the Cards) has very scary young talent.

Gallagher looks absolutely awesome today. Night and day from his first start.

His first start wasn't bad. He just wore down towards the end. I'd say its more night and day from his Houston start.

He's actually very down to earth and personable. Not really scary at all.

Just wait until the Pirates call up McCutchen. Yeesh.

Who's a scary young talent with the Astros?

Houston and Pittsburgh...meh. Brewers and Reds are the only teams that really worry me.

And how many games have they gained this past week?

Does it really matter on June 1st?

I'm glad the Cubs are playing well, but the standings don't mean all that much yet.

Seriously... that system is devoid of talent.

Outside of Pence, you are right. Nady and McLouth are pretty damn good.

Looks like Edmonds found his stroke.

Is there anything more frustrating than not getting a run in from 3rd with less than two out?

Having the pitcher's spot be up next?
