Why is our offense being handcuffed by Derek Lowe?

Because he's a good pitcher?

Again, 6.61 ERA away from spacious Dodger stadium this year.

It looks like we might be catching him on the rebound.

But Len and Bob say hes been struggling, and every time Len and Bob mention somones struggles, we dominate them. Remember Sean Chacon.

Not that he's had a bad one, but Lowe has always struck me as the kind of pitcher who should've had a better career than he's had. I've watched a lot of Dodgers games the last few seasons and the guy can look like one of the best pitchers in baseball, stuff/location wise, on any given start. Edited by SpongeWorthy

I'm not talking about just this year. Clearly he's having a down year.

He's been solid the last three years.

It's also not the best night for hitting like last night. The park probably plays a lot like Dodger stadium at night right about now.

We score this inning, book it.

With the guy who can't hit righties, Z and Soriano up?

What is DeRosa hitting with RISP? I'm sure it isn't good.

He's hitting .305 with a .397 OBP

You'd think with how often this happens, people would stop assuming things without looking them up.

Our brains aren't wired to watch the games, then go back and recall a certain player's at-bats in certain situations with any degree of accuracy.

So we can either look up the stats or spout off some crackpot psychoanalysis, I can live with that.

That's not crackpot. That's cognitive biases 101.

Ahh, excuse my ignorance.

Excused, along with the pointless snark.
