I'm not expert enough in basketball to really judge each pick technically, but I find it hard to believe every one of these picks are 100% awesome like ESPN is making it out to be. Half of these guys are going to flat out fail, and a portion of the rest won't live up to their draft position -- history pretty much writes that one in stone. Someone's not making the best decisions here, I'd sure like to know who but ESPN thinks it's better just to kiss everyone's ass.

 

The problem with that is, if ESPN goes into something with a critical eye, they get a couple of blowhards to just rip something without actualy giving it any real thought. i'd rather have a couple of guys like van gundy, who i actually like a lot, to just blow smoke up my ass and let me make up my own mind about these picks

wait, a guy from rider got picked?

 

hurry up and get to the sixers pick so i can go to bed. i'm wondering if we'll go safe guy who makes next to no impact, or high-ceiling guy who ends up being a complete bust.

Please let Spreights fall to 19. Koufos, Hibbert, and R Lopez getting picked to remove temptation would be stellar.

 

I don't see Speights falling past the Pacers...I really hope Bird doesn't take Koufos or Hibbert before him.

Went to IUPUI. Got a lot of love during the year from sites like basketball prospectus for being ridiculously efficient and productive. Looks like a man without a position in the NBA.

Courtney Lee was really impressive during the tourney. Wouldn't be a bad 2nd round pick.

 

Lee won't last to 39, he's been considered as high as 18-20.

The Portland Trail Blazers have verbally agreed to a deal that will send the rights to Brandon Rush and Jarrett Jack to the Indiana Pacers for the rights to Jerryd Bayless and Ike Diogu, according to a Blazers source.

I knew it was gonna happen so I've gotten used to it. But what the heck is this trade about? I like Rush, and wanted him after Bayless. Ike doesn't seem to fit in Obrien's system so I can understand moving him but Jarrett Jack? Don't know anything about him.
