can we stop talking about jim edmonds, i'm enjoying the fact that the cubs are beating up on a good pitcher and would like to pretend that lou and hendry don't have their heads up their rears

DLee lines out to right again. But, I still think it's good to see him hit the ball that way. It's much better than pulling it on the ground for a DP.

Len said so, even if it's the Pirates, he'll lose. And we're facing all lefties so Edmonds can't save us that series.

When is Hill coming back? I mean, seriously Lou, don't forget about him.

 

From what I read they don't think Hill is ready yet. He's still throwing too many fastballs out of the zone in AAA according to some random article I read earlier today.

I feel like going out in a blaze of glory for all the rest of Cubs fans, and hitting Marquis and Edmonds in the knees with a tire iron, just to insure they don't hurt the rest of the team. They have millions of dollars, they'll be fine

 

How can a team refuse to accept how bad certain players are?
