Hilarious. 2 AB's, no fastballs, 2 outs for CY. Why EVER throw him a FB?

Until he proves that he can hit ANYTHING else, it's pretty crazy to throw him a FB anywhere near the zone. I might try and throw some really high fastballs out of the zone when I'm ahead in the count, but that would be it.

Nahhh...if you can get him out consistently without throwing that, why chance it?

If you HAVE to throw a FB, throw it out of the zone.

I hope this outing means Teddy is back to last years form.

This makes 4 straight decent to great starts from TRL, I think he's back.

The lack of velocity still concerns me.

Why the hell is he throwing 85-86 when he was throwing 90-91 last year?

Haren's windup is hypnotizing. Good Lord.

I don't see how he can pause just like Rich did last year but it wasn't ok for Rich to do.

He hit the 90s a few times in this start. He was mostly working mid-80s.

Rich was doing it with runners on base.

I don't care what a pitcher's velocity or windup is, just so long as he can get people out and not blow out his shoulder or elbow.
