So I missed it....why is Ramirez out of the game?

Hit by a pitch on the hand. Didn't look very good, but nobody really knows anything yet.

Ouch.

Also, skimming through here it seems like Soriano has had a particularly bad game. I read about the missed flyballs, what else has he done bad?

I'm sorry. I've been AWOL from the thread since the amazing Soriano 2 error inning. I'm back to being positive thoughh. Tying run at the plate. GO CUBS!!!

This team was playing really well, when they knew Soriano would be gone for awhile, but when they realize he was close to coming back, they decide the 2007 Cubs would return, and this team would return to medocrity.

If Soriano going to play, can we atleast make him hit 8th, where his "skills" are perfectly suited for?

Yah, 35 HR is perfect for the 8 spot.

I'll take the under on that.

Either way, he has a ton of a power and is not best suited for the 8 spot.

i wasn't aware that cumulative performance was only available for daily criticism. my bad...

I'm sure you had no idea that what is being said in the game thread is generally taken in context of the current game.

obviously, you have no idea that the "game thread" is a forum dedicated to the thoughts of insightful fans during a game...
