We've all heard it. I assume it will be Murton sent down. Anyone heard anything official yet?

they'll wait until an hour before game time to make it official just in case somebody does something stupid today

Oh, and for what it's worth, Soriano was taking fly balls in left field yesterday (as well as batting practice) and he was still doing that stupid hop.

Why shouldn't he do that hop? It helps his timing for whatever reason and it makes him more comfortable catching the ball. His calf was going to pop anwyays, prob. on his next acceleration either in the field or at the plate.

I wouldnt be surprised to hear about a last second trade in the next few hours, involving murton, hopefully for a respectable middle reliever, but more likely some mid level AAer. I know Atlanta, San Diego, Washington, and San Fran could all use an extra outfielder.

Could be Hart that gets sent down, seeing as he's redundant on the roster and has options. Of course, Lou likes to have 12 pitchers.

I wouldnt be surprised if Hart got sent down, but it would be a seperate transaction.

Lord knows we need more middle infielders.

2 hours to game time, and no move made, which suggests I may be right and Hendrys on the horn trying to work something out. I mean Murton hasnt exactly been a star, but he deserves to be in the majors.

Unless Lou, Rothschild, and Perry have Murton, Pie, and Hart sitting in some board room, and Lou making the decision Trump style.

Murton for Wilkerson? He was DFA ed yesterday so it would make sense- by which I mean that Hendry might see that trade as a win.

hes trying to get rid of a position player here. that move would be pretty counter active.

the hop is not a timing mechanism, as he only does it with nobody on base/2 outs. if he's setting up to catch and throw, he doesn't hop. so yeah, he has zero reason to do it

he gets reactivated goes hitless and makes a horrible read on a ball and costs us the game today basically. Good come back game haha :rotfl:

The mistake was not sending him on a short 1-3 game rehab assignment.

Agreed. You think Soriano would've agreed to that though? I have a feeling he would've had a fit.
