Another 22 pitches for Sheets. 44 thru 2. The sooner the Cubs get into the Brewers pen, the better.

I think that with Lee/Aram/Fuku coming up in the bottom of the 3rd....There's a good chance that we'll elevate that PC even a little more!

So i'm just listening to the radio - how did this whole collision go down? Whose fault was it? Pie? Weeks? anybody?

Not sure. When the ground ball puts a fielder and the baserunner hitting the same spot at the same time, whose responsibility is it to avoid a collision?

The runner is entitled to the basepaths. Weeks was RIGHT ON the basepath when he fielded that ball. It's his fault and he's lucky he didn't get called for interference.

I brought that up the other day during a game and apparently if you're making a play on the ball you cannot be called for interference.

I'm pretty sure that's not true. If a runner interferes with a fielder attempting to make a play on the ball, the runner can get called out.

Exactly, Pie can get called for interference for not getting out of Weeks' way. The fielder has the right to be anywhere if he's trying to field the ball.

frostbite, 3 fingers, looks bad.

Wait, what?

I thought the first poster was joking when he said that. This is for real?

They didn't say anything on Comcast about this so maybe he has the FSN Wisconsin feed and they have this. I thought it was a joke as well.

I don't understand. Don't they have a backup ump on standby like all all other pro sports? What's taking so long? Is the ump's seriously hurt or something?

It wasn't in green font, it must be true.
