BOTTOM OF THE SECOND INNING

 

Johnson blooped a single to shallow right field

Milledge sacrificed, 3 unassisted, Johnson to second

Kearns grounded out to short, 6-3 , Johnson holding second

Pena singled to left field , Johnson scored, Pena to second on the throw

Nieves singled to center field , Pena scored, Nieves to second on the throw

Lannan flied out to left center field

I wonder what Soriano and Pie would have done with those throws

 

I was thinking the same thing. Theres a good chance Johnson is out on a throw by Sori for that first runner.

With the way that the second one was hit, Pena should have been out on a good throw that makes it to the plate.

Why the hell does Ted Lilly throw an 0-2 pitch over the heart of the plate to a notoriously free swinging Pena? Seriously what the hell is he thinking?

 

We better not lose 2-3 to the worst team in baseball with our supposed top 3 pitchers throwing.

Our offense has to get busy. Don't want this kid to settle down any.

 

His breathing is really annoying. He puffs air out of his mouth.

You know for the first time since he's been out, I am kinda missing Soriano. First on the plate at the plate last inning, I have no doubt the runner would have been gunned out. Now as far as power threats, other than Lee and Ramirez, who do we have? Fukudome has almost no power, DeRosa and Blanco have sporatic power, Cedeno the book is still out.
