Why does Lilly fall apart in the 4th?

I has to be something with the second time through the order. Maybe it just takes batters one time through to figure him out.

I was going to say time & time again last year we wouldn't have gotten the 2 out hit. That's the difference, so far.

Would it interest you to know that the Cubs hit .329 with a runner on third and less than two outs last season?

I'd be more interested to know what the Cubs .avg was of not scoring any runs with the bases loaded last year, and how that compares with the league.

But then again, I'm not the one who was complaining.

Way to go from 0-2 to a walk, Lilly. Get out of this.

To be fair, the count could have been 0-4, as the 3rd and forth pitches looked like strikes.

If Lilly can't get through the fourth again, I think we have to consider putting him in the pen and moving either Marshall or Lieber into the rotation.

DL him with soreness till he can get his velocity back.

Um...

There's a guy down in AAA who would like a chance. Seems to be throwing pretty well right now.
