Taht sucks. Hill needs to settle down.

What do you mean? He gave up a weak infield single that should have been an out to the shortstop and then the next guy hit a single to drive him in. Not sure what settling down has to do with it.

To be fair, not throwing a dirtball would have given Soto a pretty good chance to gun Bay out.

The guy throwns ridiculous curve balls, they are going to go in the dirt from time to time.

I would think a fan's main concern would be the longterm quality of the team (meaning, full season and future seasons, as opposed to past two weeks). In that case, wishing for improvement makes a lot of sense for a fan.

So if Theriot really wants to do what's best for the Cubs he'll deliberately screw up so the incompetent management will make the right decisions.

Look, if Theriot strings together a decent season, which he'll likely have a shot to do since the Cubs show little desire to replace him through or trade or with Cedeno, I'll happily eat several hats. Odds are, he won't actually pull that off, which is why I'm not swayed by a few decent games at the beginning of the season. He strung together a few good weeks last season and was abyssmal for the rest.

Hahahaha, what if Rich gets hurt too? Two Cubs could get hurt doing completely routine things in the first three weeks. So awesome.
