Pence grounded to the catcher , safe at first on a fielding error, E3

Pence stole second base

Erstad doubled to right center field , Pence scored

C Lee doubled to right center field , Erstad scored

Tejada flied out to right center field , C Lee to third

Hart in to pitch for the CUBS

Wigginton struck out swinging

Loretta struck out swinging

Frankly, I'd take a pack of warm week-old hot dogs for Marquis at this point.

Thought he should have stretched that one to a triple, but I guess it's safer with a 3 run deficit. Let's go rammy!

That's a little silly. He's hovered around league average for some years now. Surely someone will overpay for that.

I've missed most of the game...how did Soto get a triple?

An act of God. Nah, bounced off wall and then maybe off Lee's foot? Anyways, it bounced about 20 feet towards center and Soto pulled that plow all the way to third.
