ya know what would have been even funnier? If someone on the team slept with his wife!

The players felt it had been overdone.

8-[

A for effort.

F for comedic value.

I think you would have to be there in person to see his facial reaction to the thrashing of the old car and all that. Seeing their facial expression can say thousand words.

Yeah, video would have helped the comedic value alot.

That's good, but still not as funny as the Kyle Kendrick pranked the Phillies pulled on him a few weeks back.

A) The Kendrick thing was the closest borderline funny/mean thing I've ever seen. Hysterical.

B) If the players took bats to the car....and Wood is suspectively involved....

And Wood's back starting getting stiff on Tuesday, the same day the car demolishing happened. And his back got worse on Wednesday....

It's elementary, my dear Watson.

It seems to me the damage was done with something other than bats. I can't imagine they all stood around and beat the crap out of it.

"What Buss saw was his wife's car, a 1995 Nissan with 106,000 miles on it, turned to junk. It was parked on the ramp near the right field corner of HoHoKam Park and completely demolished. It had dents everywhere, courtesy of a few free-swinging Cubs..."

Just throwing it out there. Nothing else to talk about right now. I mean who wants to talk about march madness, opening day in a week and a half, roberts, election, bear sterns, the fed, or anything else boring.

I read something about a peeled up hood, and from what I saw on Comcast sportsnite, it looked like something more than bats did the work.
