Nice video. I already knew what #1 was when I read the topic title. :P

Is there a .GIF of that homerun anywhere? And where's that website that has Len's call of it, Pat and Ron's call of it, and Milwaukee's call?

wait geovany soto hit 3 homers in the big leagues, and none of them make this highlight reel? for shame!

i forgot how terrible that announcer was during the cubs-sox series. "lee gets the bat on it"??? it was a freakin grand slam, wtf kind of home run call is that?

I'm sure Soto will be on next year's video ;)

And yes, Kenny Albert's call was crap

Great job. The only one that I can really think of off the top of my head that wasn't on there:

the parrot home run. No love for the parrot :D

Yea, it almost made the cut. Jacque's HR beat it out.

Also, I don't know if anyone noticed, but that picture of Aramis from the Cubs ringtones ad is the same thing as my sig.

The call on #2 when the announcer said Daryle Ward Chicago Style Salami was pretty bad too.

"The pitch to Aramis, there's a drive, DEEP LEFT CENTER!!! CUBS(/voice crack) WIN!!!!!! THEY WIN IT! Ramirez, 2-run shot. Oh baby! Can you believe it?!?! Unbelievable!"

My favorite call of the year....I actually really like Len.

I did.

What game is that from?

Some game vs. the Giants in July or August. I remember it was on ESPN and they announced Kendall was traded to the Cubs. That wasn't actually a HR - a long 2 run double off the wall.

map props on the video.

i really dont think that anything in sports is more exciting than when a guy hits a HR that turns a deficit into a lead.

Awesome video, but how the hell did you decide Jacque's HR beat out the Parrot? Sure, Jones crushed it into the wind, but the Floyd homer has the Parrot, a ball in the river and a crazy come from behind win split over two days. Floyd FTW, easily.

Maybe an interception near the goal line run back for a TD. Maybe.

It's all in the timing. The Floyd HR took place in a game very early in the year while Jacque was heating up and it was a huge series with St. Louis at the most important time of the season. Jacque FTW, but not easily. ;)

Meh. I find it completely forgettable, much like Jacque's entire time here. Floyd rocking the Parrot? Never.

I am a better play by play announcer than Matt Vasgersian.

only one i can think you're missing (besides the parrot) was the Soriano shot off David Wells (the backwards trot HR that prompted the Young/Lee fight the next day)

My memory is failing me, does anyone remember the background to Fontenot's homer (#7)? I remember it being funny at the time but now I am forgetting what happened.
