McFadden unofficially ran a 4.27 forty at the combine.

Beast. Where are you geting combine info?

Somebody who's watching it told me.

You can go here to get official stats, but only for the top scorers. Some of the players are mysteriously miscategorized, though. (ex: KU OL Anthony Collins is a DE there for some reason.)

Thanks for the link snood. Cool to see Will Franklin tied for the second fastest 40 time at WR.

I've been surprised to see Rucker's name absent from any of the lists. (KU's Derek Fine is actually testing fairly well; it's a shame there are so many TEs in this draft.)

I'm really interested to see how Felix Jones does. This could send his stock soaring, given a standout performance today. How did Mendenhall do? Have they said?

Jones ran a 4.44 and Shard ran a 4.43

In the Bears thread, someone is reporting Mendenhall at 4.37. Slow-poke.

That was on his 2nd run. His first run was a 4.43.

Yeah I was surprised to see him missing as well. With some many TEs in this draft, I figure Rucker probably won't go until the 3rd, which will be a steal for whoever gets him. I'm rooting for Carolina to draft him so he can play with his brother. I'd really like the Chiefs or Rams to take him so I could watch him every weekend, but I dunno if either will be looking for a TE.

I read on a KU message board McFadden's 4.27 was scratched. Not sure if that's true or not.

His 2nd time around he ran a 4.33 not really a big deal if it was scratched, the guys faster than hell with either time lol.

Derwood will also appreciate that the announcers have been talking up Anthony Morelli quite a bit. They commented about his stupid decisions, but seemed thrilled with his physical tools.

i wouldn't trust Morelli to hold a clipboard right side up

Well if you have McFadden @ 4.33, and Menallhall @ 4.37(4.43 on the 2nd, run) I'm taking the guy from Illinois that can run over people too.

The 4.37 for Shard was on his 2nd run, the 4.43 was his first. Kind of impressive he got faster the 2nd time around.

I hated Nutt right up until he was canned. Now I love him. . . . . sorry, OMC.

Now, back to the greatness that is Darren McFadden. Jerry Jones is going to give up the farm for him.

I expected a little better from Felix, though that is by no means bad. Pretty darn impressed with Shard, though. How'd Stewart do?

EDIT: huh, the site has completely different scores. 4.45 for Shard, 4.47 for Jones, Jamaal Charles (another favorite) at 4.38, and Stewart at 4.48.

I think Stewart ran around a 4.4. He doesn't play near that fast IMO.

Stewart was a 4.44 1st time and not sure about his 2nd time. Yea Shard running faster on his 2nd time is pretty impressive. I think he was the only back to do so.

Felix Jones looked great in the cutting drills.

Peyton Hillis has helped his stock out quite a bit -- 4.54 seems very fast for a FB.

I doubt Jones trades up for him. The cost is too much. I could end up surprised, but the talk out of Dallas is that the Cowboys will not move up.

Wow, VERY nice. Peyton, with his speed and his running ability and his blocking and his catching, could've been a 1st rounder 10 years ago. NFL teams don't use fullbacks that much anymore, though, so the demand is down. I'd LOVE to have him as a Dolphin.
