Posted
Dear Terrelle Pryor,

Make up your frickin mind.

Sincerely,

Dear PriorPower

Terelle Pryor is not signing with PSU.

Do you really care whether he goes to UM or tO$U?

In terms of rankings? All I know about ESPN is that they have decent writeups of all of the commits. More than I would have expected, actually.

If he commits to Penn State you should change your name to "PryorPower"

awesome.

I meant in terms of quality, maybe even accuracy. Would I be correct in valuing Scout more than ESPN (and of course Rivals more than ESPN).

Maybe if he changed it now, it would sway Terrelle in PSU's favor.

Jason Ford is a really solid back, but if he had stayed with Iowa we wouldn't have gotten Jeff Brinson from Florida. I think it worked out well for both parties.

The quote of the day came from Joe Tiller, regarding Rich Rod grabbing one of his commits in the last week:

"If we had an early signing date, you wouldn't have another outfit with a guy in a wizard hat selling snake oil to get a guy at the last minute, but that's what happened."

I have a feeling a lot of Big Ten coaches will feel that way about Rich Rod.

I don't know anything about ESPN's new recruiting team, but they rated Clemson's class No. 2 in the nation when neither Scout nor Rivals had them in the top 10, so I'm going to ignore them for the time being.

All the rankings are subjective and can't be judged until 3 or even 4 years down the line.

That said, Clemson signed an impressive class. Maybe not #2 overall, but top 5 IMO.

Texas is about to get a commitment from the #2 QB in the Rivals '09 class as the hand out scholarships today for the 1st time to the '09 class. Here we come National Signing Day 2009.

Thanks for raining on my parade.

I want him to come, but part of me doesn't for fear he'll become Anthony Morelli part deux under the highly esteemed tutelage of Jay Paterno.

ideally our boy Jay would be gone (with poppa) before Pryor took a snap

Eh, I think ESPN's sucks. They don't rate half the kids, and the ones they do are obviously biased towards the traditional power programs. I'd put Rivals as far and away the number one site, and then Scout, with ESPN a distant number three. But, that's just my opinion.

They're horrible. They overrated the players that committed to play in their under armour all-american game to try and give the game some more exposure. Notre Dame's class ranked #10? That tells you all you need to know.

So, ND fans, whats the over/under of when Crist will be out Clausen? I'd say late this upcoming season.

He won't. Clausen will be a great one.

He won't. Clausen will be a great one.

Brady Quinn, 2003: 157/332, 1,831 yards, 9 TD, 15 INT (13 times sacked, ND's record 5-7)

Jimmy Clausen, 2007: 138/245, 1,254 yards, 7 TD, 6 INT (34 times sacked, ND's record 3-9)

Jimmy will be more than fine.

Of course struggling your freshman year doesn't necessarily mean he'll improve leaps and bounds down the road (though I do agree with you).

so who the hell is going to play qb for michigan next year? terrelle pryor is the wrong answer; he's going to either to$u or, if he goes with where his dad wants him to go, psu.

Since 2005, Michigan has recruited 3 QB...Ryan Mallet, David Cone, and Jason Forcier. That can't be good. And what's worse it seems like they put all of their eggs in their basket for Terrelle Pryor, who may not even got to Michigan. There is not a distinguishable QB on Michigan's roster (unless someone familiar with Michigan football can fillme in), so they better hope they land Pryor, or they are looking at a LONG...Notre Dame type season.

BTB, even if they land Pryor, I believe Pryor will end at either DE or TE/WR before he leaves college. He just doens't look naturally as a QB.

My guess.....David Cone????
