But I was informed by my guy tonight that Peter Angelos did nix the Erik Bedard trade with Seattle.

 

Apparently the deal was OKed by PA early on in the day but then later he changed his mind and had it pulled.

 

MacPhail and Bavasi agreed to the deal originally and PA nixed it.

Orioles' fans are having a fit right now, and rightfully so. That team will never be anything as long as Angelos owns them. I'm guessing he'll nix a Roberts' trade as well. I would like to know one way or the other though. Enough of this back and forth crap. Either tell us the deal is off for good, or complete the trade.

Maybe they just want to trade Bedard to the Cubs? Peter Angelos figures that if his team sucks, he might as well help another terribly run franchise to win the World Series
