Why not make a deal with the Dodgers?

According to Fox Sports, the Dodgers are looking at Inge to play 3B. Looking at the numbers, we have a better 3B (DeRosa) to trade to them.

 

DeRosa:

(2007) .293, 10 HRs, 72 RBI, .371, .420

(Career avg.) .278, 10 HRs, 58 RBI, .341, .408

 

Inge:

(2007) .236, 14 HRs, 71 RBI, .312, .376

(Career avg.) .241, 16 HRs, 66 RBI, .304, .394

 

Obviously, DeRosa's numbers have been improving with more playing time the last few years.

 

How about DeRosa plus young pitcher for Eithier?

 

Another possibility would be DeRosa, Marshall, plus ????? for Furcal/Hu.

I'd do it, but only if DeRosa is completely out of the starting lineup plans next year. If DeRosa still has the opportunity to start somewhere I don't really wanna trade him

I'd definitely be up for moving DeRosa if they find a suitable second baseman replacement. Not sure if LA would actually view him as a 3B though.

Surely they have a crappy middle infielder that we could get in return for DeRosa. Yeah, I'm bitter.
